Good Times and Big Milestones at Summer Bash 2026

Categories: CommunityCommunity Vision

Last month we gathered at Mt. Scott Park for our annual Summer Bash. The sun was out and our community showed up ready to celebrate. Everyone enjoyed a delicious taco bar and got to know each other through the Taco Passport, a fun icebreaker activity that got people laughing and connecting. There were lawn games, crafts, and a game of kickball that brought out everyone’s competitive side.

A big thank you to everyone who helped put this event together and to everyone who joined in the celebration!

A look back at this year’s Summer Bash.

While gathering at this year’s Summer Bash, we took a moment to celebrate a very special milestone. Robin Franklin marked 25 years of service to Community Vision.

Robin has worked as a direct support professional for several different individuals over her long career. She is a faithful worker who shows up day after day to make sure the person she supports is having a good life. Through the ups and downs of the past few decades, Robin has been a consistent source of positivity and excellence.

Congratulations on this milestone, Robin. Twenty five years of dedicated, genuine care is something to be truly proud of!
