Community Vision needs volunteers to make our work possible. We have many rewarding volunteer opportunities, from one-time group work parties to ongoing opportunities. We have something perfect for you, your community group, or your company. Join our Community Vision Family and ensure that people with disabilities are empowered and feel like valued members of the community.
Join a Community Volunteer Day: Be a part of a team that accomplishes a home-based project for someone we support such as painting a house, pulling up weeds, or repairing a fence.
Do a Volunteer Project with Us: The people we support like to give back too. As a way to build community, we look to partner with other groups to do a community service project together. You bring some members of your team, we will bring some of ours, and we can make a difference while getting to know each other and making connections.
Harvest Century: Be an event volunteer at our annual cycling fundraiser in September. The Harvest Century features five looped routes (3, 25, 45, 75, and 100 miles) starting from the Civic Center in downtown Hillsboro. We need community volunteers to register participants, load trucks, cut hundreds of bagels, drive support vehicles, stuff goody bags, and much more. Volunteer locations are in Hillsboro, Forest Grove, Newberg, Canby, and Sherwood. Group opportunities are available and make a fun team-building activity.
