Wells Fargo Volunteers Uncover Melissa’s Yard

In June, a group of volunteers from Wells Fargo helped clear overgrown blackberries and other weeds from Melissa’s yard. Melissa lives in her own home and is a supported individual in our Supported Living program. The overgrowth was so bad that Melissa couldn’t get to her own back yard.

Wells Fargo volunteers cut back and uprooted the unwanted greenery that had taken over Melissa’s side and back yards. By the end of the day, they opened up a walkway and private space, where Melissa could spend outside time during the summer.

We are so grateful for Wells Fargo as a partner. They provide ongoing support for our Housing Access program, ensuring people with disabilities can access and sustain affordable, accessible rental units. They also find the time to give back directly to our folks as well.

Thank you Wells Fargo! We look forward to many years of making meaningful change together in the years ahead.
