About Community Vision
In the world of disability services, the fewest options exist for people with disabilities to live on their own. Yet, over and over, people with disabilities say that is exactly what they want.
Community Vision specializes in creating opportunities for independence. We support people to live in neighborhoods, showing what is possible.
We believe that people with disabilities should have a choice in where they live and what their lives look like. This is why we do what we do.

Community Vision provides services, education, and advocacy to ensure that people with disabilities direct their own lives.
Our Vision
We envision a world where people with disabilities are included, accepted, and able to live a life they choose.
Our Way
We have six philosophy statements that guide us. These principles are central to our work and our vision for an inclusive community:
- People with disabilities are people and deserve inclusion.
- We listen to what people need and do something about it.
- We develop creative solutions, not just easy or expected ones.
- We sustain and deepen our work by fostering a trusting and supportive team.
- We strengthen our impact by creating robust partnerships and changing minds.
- There are political reasons for the power imbalance people with disabilities experience and we will not rest until that changes.
