Become a Mentor

Community Vision Dream Builders Alliance volunteer mentors support young adults experiencing disability in their journey to adulthood.
Mentors help our young adults build towards creating goals and developing vocational skills while exploring personal interests. Activities could include riding public transit, attending college classes, arranging informational interviews, or just going out in the community and having fun. Each activity is geared to the young adult and mentor’s skills and interests.

  • Mentors will meet with their young adult participant match for 2-5 hours per week
  • All travel and activity expenses are reimbursed
  • $100 stipend for each mentor following active participation and completion of the program

We invite you to join us on a journey to a bright future for young adults, one led and envisioned by the participants.  We are here to ensure success!
